Why the change?
We are trying to make the most of every opportunity because you are a very busy parent! Since there will be time to visit classes at the picnic, the administrative team thought it would be good to combine the two events. This means that we would not schedule the additional evening event the following week.
What can I expect?
At our upcoming annual picnic, you will receive a welcome packet from each of your child's teachers. What has been usually shared at an open house the second week of September, will be provided at the picnic in written form. If you cannot come to the picnic, the information will be sent home with your child(ren).
As you read through the materials, feel free to contact your teachers with your questions.
The first week of October (4 weeks into the school year) will be the annual parent-teacher conferences.
Praying for your children is one of the greatest privileges and responsibilities given to parents and others who guide and oversee them. Here is a simple plan for praying for your children:
Monday
- Their salvation.
- Their mate would be godly and kept morally pure.
- That God would keep them from evil.
- That they would keep a clear conscience.
- That their character would be more valuable to them than their credentials.
- That they would stand up for what is right, even if it means standing alone.
- That they would not compare themselves with others but with Christ.
Tuesday
- That they would remove all doubtful habits.
- That they would be delivered from all influences of the enemy.
- That all bitterness would be rooted out of their lives.
- That all anger would be replaced with patience.
- That they would learn to walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh.
- That they would remove themselves from the influences of wrong friends.
Wednesday
- That they would respect authority and pray for them.
- That they would have the heart of a servant.
- That sin would always be distasteful to them and they would be easily broken over their disobedience.
- That they would honor their father and mother.
- That our children would love each other.
- That they would love to give to meet the needs of others.
Thursday
- That the Word of God would become their final authority.
- That they would hide the Word of God in their hearts.
- That they would seek the Lord’s will in all they do.
- That they would grow in true wisdom and knowledge.
- That they would be morally pure.
- That they would have a proper view of God.
- That their minds would be protected from false religions and humanism.
Friday
- That God would give them a love for people.
- That eternity would burn in their hearts.
- That their goals in life would involve reaching the world for Christ.
- That they would be kept physically safe from all harm.
- That they would be kept from the love of money.
- That they would learn to pray fervently.

Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year! As the board, administration and I have prepared for this new year, we find ourselves back in a position of total dependency on Him. What better place is there for us to be?
This year's theme is from Deuteronomy 26:11 which says, "And rejoice! Celebrate all the good things that GOD, your God, has given you and your family!" It is my prayer that the 2007-2008 school year will be a year of celebration of our God!
Below are some updates and areas where we can praise the Lord! As you can see, much is in the works for a fabulous year! More information will be coming in the near future. Check our website often for the latest updates.
May the Lord richly bless you during August as you prepare for the year ahead. Warm regards and many blessings to you. ~ Dean Boyer
2007-2008 Staff
The Lord has been faithful through the hiring process. Debbie Schindler and Tim Hoy are working closely together and should have specific information coming to you in the near future. Please click on the link "2007-2008 Staff" for a current listing.
Board Leadership
We have a tremendous board again! Please click on the link "2007-2008 Board" for a complete listing.
Enrollment
We are continuing to add students each week. Currently, we have 239 elementary, 112 middle school and 32 high school students. We continue to pray for 400 students, just 17 more! 10 of the 17 are in process in some way. Pray for our enrollment.
Back to School Picnic
Continuing with the theme of "celebration" you and your entire family are invited to the Back to School Picnic on August 30th from 6:00-8:00 PM. Please click on "Back to School Picnic" for details.
New Website and School Software Program
This summer we have begun creating a more user-friendly website and have purchased a school software program to streamline communication and provide helpful tools for you and our staff. Data is in the process of being converted. You will receive specific information about both of these as they are made available.
Changes
Please remember that we have new hours! Kindergarten (8:15-1:00), Grades 1-5 (8:15-2:45), Grades 6-10 (8:00-2:30).
We no longer offer before school care. After school care is available for kindergarten (starting at 1:30) and all others (starting at 3:15).
